Connection & agent status, explained

Provisioning your agent

When your agent is first being set up, your dashboard shows its provisioning progress. If provisioning doesn't finish, a "Try again" option is available.

Channel connection states

Each channel page shows where you stand while you connect it — a "Connecting…" pill while the connection is being set up, a "Connected" pill once it's live, and a clear error message if something went wrong. If a connection gets stuck or shows an error, retrying or reconnecting is usually the next step.

Gmail is simpler: it connects with one click, and its status shows both on the email channel page and on your Connections page. If the email page still shows a connect button when you believe you're already connected, use its "Already connected? Check the status on Connections" link to double-check.

Agent health

Your agent shows a health indicator based on regular heartbeat checks, so you can tell at a glance whether it's running normally.

If something seems stuck

Agent setup usually takes a few minutes. If a connection or your agent's status looks stuck for more than about 10–15 minutes, the next step is the same as anywhere else in the product: email support and we'll help you sort it out.
